Product Overview:
This Tapped Density Analyzer, also known as powder tapped density tester, is a high-precision testing instrument specially designed to accurately measure the tapped density of powder and granular materials. It is one of the core equipment for physical and chemical property testing of powder materials, widely used in industrial production, scientific research & development and quality control.
The instrument simulates the vibration working condition of materials during actual stacking, filling and compaction. Through standardized mechanical tapping, it eliminates air gaps between powder particles and optimizes the packing arrangement of particles. It can accurately obtain the packing density parameters of materials after compaction, and intuitively reflect the packing compactness, flowability and filling performance of powders.
Working Principle:
A quantified amount of powder is placed into a graduated cylinder. While maintaining the original morphology of particles, the vibration device performs uniform rotation together with reciprocating vertical linear motion, bringing the gaps between particles close to a limiting value until the volume of powder no longer decreases. The tapped density of the sample is obtained by dividing the mass of the powder by its volume after tapping.
