Microwave chemical reactor
A microwave chemical reactor is a specialized device that converts microwave energy into the energy required for chemical reactions. It generates microwaves of specific frequencies through a microwave generator (industrial and experimental frequencies are typically 2450 MHz, the same as the frequency used in household microwave ovens, and this frequency can be efficiently absorbed by polar molecules). The microwaves are then directed towards the reaction vessel, causing polar molecules (such as water molecules and organic compound molecules) in the reaction system to undergo "high-frequency vibration" within the microwave field. Through molecular friction and collision, heat is generated, thereby achieving rapid temperature increase of the reaction system and accelerating the chemical reaction.
